Alayne Curtiss
Owner & Licensed Esthetician/Cosmetologist
Sensational and sincere are two of a bounty of words that describe Alayne Curtiss, the talented and innovative entrepreneur behind Make Me Fabulous.
Having spent the past 30 + years educating herself and her clients in the art of aesthetics, cosmetics, and great hair in all forms; including hair cutting, coloring, styling, brow shaping, makeup, and commercial styling.
Alayne has had the opportunity to train and work with, such beauty giants as Lancome, L’Oreal, Clinique, Clairol, Bobbi Brown, Philosophy, Schwarzkopf, Bumble and Bumble, Ouidad, Philip Wilson, and Bare Minerals to name a few.
From print to performance, Alayne’s work has been featured on the pages of Glamour, Women’s Day, Martha Stewart, Self, Instyle Hair, Well Wed, The Knot, and Biker magazines, as well as on the faces of personalities including, Governors Pataki and Cuomo, HGTV, Spike TV, The Today Show, MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon and designers Pnina Tornia and Mark Zunino for NY Bridal Fashion Week 2016.
She was assistant producer for the Milady Basic Makeup Artist Training Textbook and DVD and lead makeup artist for a recent Milady hair-cutting training DVD. Alayne is currently the consulting makeup artist for NBC affiliate WNYT News Channel 13, a former staff editorial hair and makeup stylist for Her Life New York Magazine, and a consultant for the Bare Minerals product development team.
Alayne’s experience rivals many in the industry and she is thrilled to offer her signature services along with a team of gifted professionals at her boutique, Make Me Fab, located in her hometown of Saratoga Springs, New York.
Make Me Fab, is a non-toxic, boutique salon and spa offering a multitude of services. Alayne is a licensed esthetician and cosmetologist, and is Ouidad certified. Her eyebrow waxing and shaping is legendary for literally changing women’s faces. @alaynecurtissbeauty

Rosanna Bernos
Operations Manager
Operation Manager Rosanna Bernos was Make Me Fab’s first salon client and is now our longest-running employee. She says it was only supposed to be temporary! As a former Pharmacy Manager, Rosanna took a part-time job with us just for fun between pharmacy jobs and to be able to spend more time with her beloved son, Patrick. Well, now she clearly realizes that we just can’t live without her!
With her organizational skills, ability to fix anything and everything plus her extraordinary shopping skills, Rosanna not only oversees all the technical operations at MMF but has also landed the title of purchasing and inventory manager. She also makes sure that every employee at MMF gets Mrs. London’s chocolate mousse cake for their birthday! We couldn’t live without Rosie and we are glad she stuck around to take care of just about everything that needs a little extra attention at Make Me Fab. Kendra Bruce
Lead Hairstylist & Makeup Artist
Kendra started her career at Paul Mitchell The School in Schenectady, NY where she graduated in 2014. While in school, Kendra completed the Phase 2 program that provides students with a higher, more challenging level of education. Kendra also participated in Paul Mitchell’s “Caper” which is an education and networking event, in Las Vegas, Nevada. During that event, Kendra participated in hands-on training in coloring and styling. She attended classes by Paul Mitchell educators Robert Cromeans, Noogie Thai, and more! In 2015 she attended Paul Mitchell Advanced Academy in Houston, Texas for cutting techniques.
Kendra joined #teamfab in 2016 and immediately fell in love with the culture! Since joining Make Me Fab, she has completed certifications in Hairdreams Laserbeamer Nano and Hairdreams Quikkies extension applications. She has also attended hair-cutting training by Philip Wilson (Voted one of the most influential Hairdressers of the past 100 years by Modern Salon magazine). Kendra is dedicated to continuing her education and frequently attends color and product knowledge classes provided by brands such as Schwarzkopf, Lanza, Colorproof, and Milkshake.
Working under Alayne for almost a decade, Kendra has also become skilled in bridal hair, makeup, and commercial styling. Clients love Kendra’s calm and easy demeanor. Her work ethic, reliability, and ability to take on new challenges make her a great asset to the Make Me Fab team and her clients.
Kendra loves creating natural, lived-in blondes by using balayage and foiling techniques. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog! @hairbykendra
Lilly
Hair Stylist & Makeup Artist
Lilly graduated from Paul Mitchell The School in Schenectady, NY. She has attended training taught by renowned editorial stylist Vivienne Mackinder and barbering education by March Marv. Lilly has received advanced training by attending classes by Neuma and Schwarzkopf since being here at Make Me Fab. She is passionate about everything beauty and is very excited to continue her education.
Our clients know her for her relaxing shampoos and her amazing blowouts. She loves working at Make Me Fab because of our team culture and commitment to compassion for all employees! We love Lilly because she is committed to advancing her career and has a great attitude for success. @looksbylillyp
Julianna Bink
Licensed Esthetician & Lead Makeup Artist
Julianna graduated from the Aesthetic Science Institute in Latham, NY, and loves skin! She loves to be able to make her clients more knowledgeable about their skin and how to make them glow. Plus, clients rave that she gives the best massages during her services.
Julianna is as sweet as the day is long and a breath of fresh air. You will often find her not only providing skincare services but also helping out the rest of the team at MMF. Julianna is available for numerous spa services on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. @julieesthetics_
Sara McDermid
Licensed Cosmetologist & Lash Artist
Hi, my name is Sara! I went to cosmetology school throughout high school in the BOCES program. I really enjoyed cosmetology school and as soon as I graduated I decided to look into doing lash extensions. I took a course at The Aesthetics Science Institute as soon as I received my cosmetology license and immediately took another course specializing in volume lash extensions a few weeks later. I started practicing lashes and assisting in hair in Clifton Park.
Since joining #teamfab, I have been doing lash extensions every day and I love it! Lash extensions are my favorite service to do. I love seeing my client’s reactions when they open their eyes and see their brand-new lashes! I also love doing blowouts and giving people the perfect beach waves. @rosariaslashes
Sydney Dubrey
Licensed Esthetician & Lash Artist
Sydney’s introduction to Make Me Fab during her senior year left a lasting impression on her, as she was captivated by our team culture and lash membership program. After successfully completing her studies at The Esthetic Science Institute, Sydney expressed her keen interest in joining our team. With a lifelong fascination for skincare, Sydney is enthusiastic about sharing her expertise in various areas including Dermaplaning, Airbrush Tanning, Lash Extensions, Makeup, and Facials with our valued clients and guests. @lashes.with.syd
Lisa Stengel
Makeup Artist
An accomplished Makeup Artist and customer of Make Me Fab, Lisa loves all things makeup and takes pride in her professionalism and attention to detail. She studied makeup at the Makeup Forever Makeup Academy in New York City. @littlemisslisamarie23
Liz
Hairstylist
Liz started her career at Paul Mitchell The School Schenectady, while there she completed the Phase 2 program which is an advanced level training program that requires students to interview before being accepted into the program.
With certifications in GK Smoothing Treatments, Dream Catchers Hair Extensions, and Beam Light Hair Extension. She has trained in the installation of I-tip, tape-in, and keratin bond extensions. Liz has a passion for creating fun, edgy looks using razor-cutting and vivid colors. She has found a new passion in cutting and styling curly hair textures of all types.
Liz loves being part of #teamfab for so many reasons but one, in particular, is the continuous training and education, she loves learning and furthering her training and education.
On her days off she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting with her Cricut, and gaming. @stylezbyliz

Introducing Salma — our newest powerhouse stylist.
Renowned for her flawless blonding, seamless lived-in color, and transformative brunettes, Salma brings an elite level of precision and artistry to every client.
Salma’s work is precise, healthy, elevated, and consistently stunning. Her expertise and commitment to long-lasting results make her an invaluable addition to our salon. @slayedbysalmaa
Hannah
Licensed Cosmetologist
Hannah graduated at the top of her class from the Robert H. Gibson Technical Cosmetology Program. She attended the two-year program, completing 1,000 hours of hands-on work, as well as two regional and one state competition.
Hannah plans to continue her education here at Make Me Fab, learning from other stylists and taking advanced classes. She says, “I am truly grateful to be a part of Make Me Fab and can’t wait to meet you!”
During her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her dog, friends, and family, or going shopping. @beauty_by_hannah2025
Kailey
Licensed Cosmetologist and Esthetician
Kailey graduated at the top of her class from HFM Career and Technical Education’s Cosmetology Program during high school. After graduating and earning her cosmetology license, she attended the Aesthetic Science Institute to pursue her esthetics license.
Kailey now works at Make Me Fab, where she intends to continue advancing her education and career.
Kailey has been fascinated by the beauty industry her whole life. She has always had a passion for skincare, makeup, and hair. Her main goal is to help her clients look their best and feel confident in themselves. @kay.the.beautician
